Dr. Pierre Kory: A Champion in the Health Freedom Movement
Dr. Pierre Kory, who used to be a critical care physician at the University of Wisconsin and a figurehead in the medical community, has become a central figure and a leading voice in the health freedom movement. He served as the medical director for the Trauma and Life Support Center in the outpatient pulmonary medicine clinic. His journey from a respected and renowned ICU doctor to a controversial advocate for medical freedom encapsulates the broader narrative of the health freedom movement's battle against what we see as overreaching health regulations and mainstream medical dogma, or in other words, the corrupt medical cabal. Pierre pioneered bedside ultrasonography, which has saved an untold number of lives and is now used in every modern hospital worldwide. I’ve had the opportunity to meet and talk to some amazing warriors during my time as an activist, but I’ve met nobody who can match the tenacity for Truth like Dr. Kory. He spoke at two senate hearings, pleading with the public to use repurposed medications as early treatment to save lives. He said, “I am a physician and a man of science. I’ve done nothing but commit myself to scientific truth and the care of patients.” He passionately argued for the reconsideration of safe treatments that would save lives.
The Rise to Prominence
Dr. Kory first came into the public eye for his medical expertise and advocacy for treatments like ivermectin for COVID-19. That stance, which he correctly views as life-saving, cost him his job at the University of Wisconsin. He was ridiculed and ostracized for a treatment that was safe, effective, and inexpensive. Ivermectin could be the drug with the safest profile in human history. William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura won a Nobel Prize in 2015 for their discovery of the drug. In 2023, he wrote and published the book War on Ivermectin: The Medicine that Saved Millions and Could Have Ended the Pandemic. The book provides absolute evidence that the drug is effective and safe. It should have been a first-line treatment for covid. It would have saved millions of lives and would have kept the corrupt pharmaceutical industry from getting emergency-use authorization for their lethal injections.
Dr. Kory was the co-founder and former president of the FLCCC (Frontline Covid Critical Care Alliance.
Challenges and Controversies
The advocacy for ivermectin and other treatments not endorsed by conventional health bodies earned Kory both followers and fierce critics. He faced professional repercussions, including scrutiny from medical boards and dismissal from positions, which he and his supporters argue was due to his refusal to conform to what they view as a pharmaceutical industry-driven narrative. This conflict highlights the tension between individual medical freedom and regulatory oversight, central to the health freedom movement's ethos.
The Health Freedom Movement's Hero
For many within the health freedom movement, Dr. Kory's story exemplifies the struggle against what they perceive as medical tyranny. His actions are seen as heroic for several reasons:
Defiance Against the Status Quo: Kory's insistence on promoting treatments based on his clinical observations, even when these clashed with official guidelines, resonates with those who feel marginalized by conventional medicine.
Advocacy for Patient Autonomy: His work underscores the movement's belief in patients' right to choose their treatments, free from what they see as undue influence by pharmaceutical companies or government health agencies.
Educational Outreach: Through various platforms, including social media, Kory has continued to educate and advocate, reaching out to patients directly and embodying the movement's call for direct access to health information and treatments.
Personal Sacrifice: The professional and personal costs he endured for his advocacy are often cited as evidence of his commitment to principles over personal gain, a fundamental tenet for those championing health freedom.
