To save on words, I will refrain from starting every sentence with "in my opinion."

My own perspective is that there are no aliens. Period. Demons, yes, but with no ability to cross into the physical realm. We were created by a God who can be known through His Son, Jesus Christ. We have the historical evidence for the resurrection (and most recently new information regarding the Shroud of Turin), we have the gospel which, in my opinion is the only successful resolution of the conflict between mercy and justice, and we have Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament that have been fulfilled in a way that defies all other explanation. With this, we have solid evidence of God our Creator, who loves us, who can be known when we seek Him, who is merciful, and who will exact judgment for the evil that is done in this world - and who didn't create aliens.

And then we have the government. The troubling thing is - we really don't know what black ops technology looks like today. We're still trying to figure out what was hidden fifty years ago. The president doesn't know, Congress doesn't know. Clearly the CEOs of some of the major defense contractors know, and logic would dictate that their efforts are coordinated at a level that is far above their heads. The funding is through black ops, so no financial tracing is possible - but it has to be massive, and it has to be coordinated by someone. To me, this makes the ordinary "deep state" look like child's play. Logic would also dictate that this technology will not be put to waste, but will likely be used after the third world war to consolidate global power. In the name of aliens? I think there is a good chance of it. They'll stop some nuclear countdown or something. (To me, the interference with missile silos is nothing but our own government being stumped by what the deep-deep state is doing, not evidence of aliens.)

It is also my personal opinion that the ultimate "deep state" has a clear understanding of our spiritual reality, although they are on the wrong side of it. I will never be able to prove it, but it does seem fairly obvious to me that with projects like CERN an attempt is being made to breach the barrier between the spiritual world and our own. I get the same sense with the AI side of technology. Why? Well, as a lawyer I know what it's like to insist on evidence, but when you don't have a level playing field for access to evidence, that doesn't get you very far. And I'm not trying to prove that I'm an intellectual. So my answer is that I do believe that those who understand the underlying spiritual conflict know that Christ will return, and that when He does, it will be from the spiritual realm to which He ascended. That requires those in power to cross the spiritual barrier using technology to prepare for what is called Armageddon, because I think they think that they really can defeat the Son of God and take over the spiritual realm. That is why they don't care if they destroy this world.

According to the Bible, the Antichrist doesn't set up a one-world government, he steps into it. By that time, we are in a world of deception - spiritual deception in particular. The Bible suggests that the barriers that now exist between our world and the spiritual realm will, to a certain extent, be breached.

Physics can only take us so far - and then it bids us farewell, and tells us we are on our own. If we are ultimately spiritual beings, then what the Bible tells us is correct - these things are spiritually discerned. I know what I believe, and yet I still study it intensely. It behooves all of us to ask important questions about what we believe, and why, while we have the time and ability to do that. It is important not to fall into the modern-day trap of what is called "enlightenment" and "awakening" and the belief that we can become one with the universe. That is an illusion. It also happens to be the message that is channeled both by mediums and by those who claim to have had contact with aliens. It is a doctrine of demons.

Thank you for the opportunity to post this note.
